Dr Nicholas Wood BDS (Adel)
Dr Nicholas Wood holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Adelaide and has recently joined Kensington Dental Care. Since beginning his private practice journey, Nick has serviced the Burnside and Plympton areas as well as parts of rural South Australia. Nick also currently runs a private practice in Whyalla.
Implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, minor oral surgery and family dentistry are Nick’s specific areas of interest. He enjoys researching and utilising new techniques and technology to provide gold standard treatment for his patients that achieve optimal results.
Outside of the practice Nick enjoys spending time with his partner, Prue and their German Pointer, Albert. His passion for cycling takes him into the hills most weekends, as does his partner’s horse riding pursuits, which Nick is now learning to master. When he gets the time, Nick also loves cooking, playing guitar and skiing.
Dr Evan Jones BDS (Adel)
Dr Evan Jones is a graduate of the University of Adelaide who has previously spent a number of years working in busy metropolitan and rural clinics before joining Kensington Dental Care. Evan has a friendly and caring manner that allows him to provide the best care to his patients.
Evan has a wide range of skills in general dentistry with a particular interest in digitally driven dentistry including implants, cosmetic dentistry and Invisalign. In addition, Evan holds admitting rights at Flinders Private and North Eastern Community Hospital to perform general dental and oral surgery procedures including wisdom teeth removal and implant placement under general anaesthetic.
Outside of dentistry Evan is a keen cyclist and tennis player. He is also enjoys spending time with his partner, Rose, their miniature dachshund Sampson, and friends. He enjoys travelling and experiencing a wide variety of food, wine and coffee.
Dr Tom Moran B.Sc, BDS (Adel)
Tom has been a dental practitioner for over 35 years, having graduated from the University of Adelaide in 1980.
Tom opened the Kensington Park practice in 2000, only a stone's throw away from his previous practice in Leabrook where he provided dental care for nearly 2 decades. Tom is a well-respected practitioner in his industry, and has a strong commitment to providing high quality care to all his patients.
In his spare time Tom enjoys relaxing at the river, spending time with his family and working in the garden.
Dr Tony McInernery BDS (Adel)
Tony has been a dentist for over 40 years. He graduated from the University of Adelaide, and worked in rural South Australia, before travelling to London to obtain further experience. On returning from the UK, he joined an Adelaide practice and helped set up country practices in Burra and Riverton.
Outside of dentistry, Tony is keen on sport and travel. He has recently signed up to do volunteer dentistry in Vietnam.
Danielle Newbery BOH (Adel)
With over 20 years experience in the industry, Dee is well-versed on all things dental. She has a keen interest in children’s dentistry and complex periodontal cases, completing several advanced periodontal courses after graduating from the University of Adelaide. She also enjoys helping her patients improve their smile through various tooth whitening procedures.
After graduation, Dee has worked both in the School Dental Service and in Private General & Periodontal Clinics. She also clinically tutored Bachelor of Oral Health second year students in the hygiene clinics.
Dee lives in the Adelaide Hills on a large property with her husband, Andrew and their 3 young children.
Georgina Ormandy BOH (Adel)
Georgina has been working at Kensington Dental Care since 2013, on the completion of the Bachelor of Oral Health at the University of Adelaide. She enjoys working with people of all ages, helping them to achieve long term and realistic oral health outcomes through a focus on education and prevention. Throughout her time at Kensington Dental Care, Georgina has been able to refine her skills on working with dentally anxious patients; tailoring treatment plans that patients are comfortable with, to ultimately gain effective results.
Georgina spends her free time with friends, family and her pet dog Hugo. She loves the creative arts and also enjoys traveling when she can!
